Sour Cream Apple Pie
Servings:
Makes one 9 inch pie
Ingredients:
1 1/4 c. sour cream
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
6 c. apples, peeled and sliced
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Whisk together all ingredients except the apples until smooth.
Fill your 9" pie crust with sliced apples and pour the sour cream batter over top until crust is full.
Bake without crumble topping for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 30 minutes.
Combine crumble topping ingredients with your fingers and keep in the fridge until the pie is ready.
Sprinkle on the topping and bake for another 20-25 minutes.
