Through LEAP's Harvest Bucks program, families on SNAP, WIC and Medicaid, kids, and seniors are able to increase their food budget at our markets. This doesn’t happen without community support, and this month, we are asking for your help in making this mission possible.
When you give to LEAP, you do more than support our program. You help a family put fresh, healthy food on the table. You’re supporting a local farmer. And you’re investing in a stronger, healthier Roanoke.
Through monetary donations, pledges, recurring monthly donations, and even rounding up when you check out at our Community Store, you too can contribute in cultivating a community where local food is accessible to all.
Join LEAP for our farm-to-table celebration and fundraiser, showcasing our incredible local farmers, chefs, and food community! Savor the delights of late-summer harvest with delicious food grown by local farmers and prepared by top-notch local chefs.
This local farm-to-table celebration will feature:
* Social hour with locally prepared appetizers (6-7pm)
* Great conversations with community partners and farmers
* Awesome live music
* Opportunity to explore LEAP's communal spaces
* Mouthwatering meal, shared with community (7-8:30pm)
* Cash bar available
