LEAP MAKES It EASier To eat Local

All LEAP outlets prioritize sustainable growing practices, small-scale producers,
a diversity of products and people, and a sense of community.
See below for the many ways LEAP connects eaters with local food.

Farmers Markets

LEAP's mission is rooted in the farmers, vendors, and customers who sell and shop at our markets. Most products are raised or prepared within 100 miles of our markets. All markets accept and match SNAP, Medicaid, and WIC.

Mobile market

Every week, year round, the LEAP Mobile Market arrives in neighborhoods across the region to feed residents hungry for fresh food. The mobile market's reach is expanding to provide more shoppers regular access to local produce. RETAIL STORE

In Roanoke’s West End neighborhood, fresh fruits and vegetables are often hard to find. LEAP is building a retail store to make fresh and locally produced food more available to the community. This store is expected to open in Spring 2024.
